Sherri Lynn Marshall

Sherri Marshall passed into the loving arms of our Lord on Tuesday morning, June 5th, 2018, in Longmont, Colorado, after fighting a year-long, courageous battle with an aggressive brain tumor. She was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado; she graduated from Greeley West High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from University of Northern Colorado/Greeley, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Soon after, she earned her CPA designation and maintained her designation throughout the remainder of her life. Soon, after completing her education she moved to Longmont and worked with Hunt Sales/Northern Colorado Distributors as a VP and Controller. She also earned her Colorado Real Estate License and worked with Keller-Williams and Equity Colorado Real Estate. She married Robert Marshall in 1999 and they continued to make their home in Longmont, Colorado.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Robert Marshall, her son, Collin Bishop, Daughter-in-law, Ann Bishop, three grandsons, Grant, Owen and Lance Bishop, two sisters, Dawne Murray and Janet Davenport-Kortje, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Loretta (Susie) Dayton.

Sherri enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, entertaining, gardening, traveling, and especially spending time with her two grandsons, Grant and Owen. If not for being called home to heaven, Sherri would be enjoying moments of heaven, here on earth, with her third grandson, Lance, who was born the weekend she was admitted to hospice.

A celebration of Sherri’s life will be held at the Howe Mortuary on Friday, June 29th at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Sherri's favorite charities: the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
