Susan A. Rupp, 49, of LaPorte, Colorado, died Friday, July 4, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident near Durango, Colorado.Those remaining to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sarah Papini and husband, Jared, and their children, Brooke and Jacob, all of Longmont, Colorado; son, Daniel Nack of Fennimore, Wisconsin; brother, Tom Pankratz; and sisters, Therese Randall, Denise Palkovich, and Patti Strong, all of Wisconsin.Sue was born January 1, 1959 in Chilton, Wisconsin, to Howard and Kathleen (Meyer) Pankratz. She graduated from Campbellsport High School in Campbellsport, Wisconsin.In 1984, she moved her family to Colorado, to be close to the mountains. She was a talented artist, creating beautiful oil paintings and pencil drawings. Her former studio in Berthoud was her pride and joy for many years. Sue was also a lover of dogs and horses, and worked Centennial Livestock Auctions in Fort Collins.A cremation has been held. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont with the Reverend Brian Morrow as Celebrant.
