Theodore Alan Olson

Theodore "Ted" Olson, husband, father, son and brother passed away at Porter Adventist Hospital on September 26, 2021. He was born to Stanley Olson and Teresa Youngquist on June 4, 1965 in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Ted enjoyed a career in welding, he attended a trade school in 1984 to learn the craft and worked in welding ever since. He enjoyed playing social network games, college football, building models, spending time with his family and absolutely loved his dogs. Ted lived in Georgia with his wife, Cindy, prior to moving to Colorado in 2018. They vacationed together to South Carolina and eastern Georgia often.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Katie Fabian & husband Merlin of Lilburn, GA; son, Tyler Olson and wife Hannah of Sugarhill, GA; grandson Jake of Sugarhill, GA; granddaughter, Jolene of Lilburn, GA; mother, Teresa Youngquist of Longmont, CO; step-father, Rick Youngquist of Longmont, CO; father, Stanley Olson of Lakewood, CO; brother, Emmett Olson of Lakewood, CO; brother, Jason Youngquist of Longmont, CO; sister, Lydia Baker and husband Kevin of Loveland, CO.

Ted was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Olson; his step-mother, Nell Olson; and his wife, Cynthia Olson.

There will be a celebration of life on Friday, October 1st from 12pm-2:30pm, held at the Aspen Room in the Memorial Building at 700 Longs Peak Ave, Longmont CO. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Afterwards, a viewing and private room will be available for family and friends from 3pm-5pm at the Howe Mortuary at 439 Coffman St, Longmont.
