

Timothy Riley Walker, of Longmont died December 10, 2006 at Porter Adventist Hospital, Denver from complications of Hodgkin's disease. He was 35.Tim was born on February 21, 1971 in Henry County, Indiana to Russell D. Walker and Jill D. (Foster) Walker. Raised in Selma, Indiana he attended Wapahani High School where he was in the marching band. His senior year of high school the Walker's moved to Longmont. He was again involved in the marching band and graduated from Longmont High School in 1990.Mr. Walker continued his education at Metro State College where he received a double major in Anthropology and History. He had worked with Echostar, as a fraud investigator the past number of years.Tim's legacy was love for all those who entered his life. Even while in the middle of fighting his own cancer, he planned to volunteer to assist other cancer patients as soon as he was able.Surviving are his parents of Longmont a brother Chris Walker of Longmont and a maternal grandmother Mary Ella Foster of Yorktown, Indiana; three uncles, Jeff Foster, Jack Foster and Wayne Walker; his aunts, Cindy Rector and Emma Walker; as well as numerous cousins.No local services are scheduled at this time.
