Todd Ashley Benner

Todd Ashley Benner of Longmont, CO died January 16, 2009 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 36. Todd was born on July 13, 1972 in Los Angeles, California to Larry G. and Felicia (Garbowski) Benner. He grew up in Colorado and graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder. Todd also received his ASE from an automobile trade school in Houston, Texas . Todd married Jennifer Barsocchini in Boulder County , Colorado in 1996. Todd is survived by his two sons: Tyler Ashley and Quentin Riley Benner of Longmont; his father, Larry Benner and his wife Barbara of Boulder; his mother, Felicia Isles of St. Joseph, Missouri; his sister, Allison Foster and her husband Shad of Denver; two step sisters: Christine Schmid and Skye Espinosa and his step brother, Geoff Duckwall. In addition, Todd is survived by his maternal grandparents Ralph and Anita Garbowski, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Todd loved playing with his family. He enjoyed motorcross, camping, boating and just hanging out with his two boys. He loved cars and passed this love on to his boys. Cars were his passion whether at work or at play. From the time he was young, he enjoyed playing with cars, collecting them, working on them, driving them and dreaming about them. He loved everything mechanical. A celebration of Todd's life will be held at Howe Mortuary at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
