

Tom was born on October 4, 1955, in Detroit Michigan to Eric and Mary (Kelly) Bartlett. The family moved to Lakewood, CO in 1963 when Tom was eight years old. He graduated from Bear Creek High School in 1973.
Tom moved to Longmont, CO in 1992. Tom met his wife Katie in September of 2000, and they were married on December 31, 2001. Tom owned his own business where he was a construction sub-contractor until he retired in 2020.
In his free time Tom enjoyed baseball whether it be attending games or watching them on TV with his wife Katie. Tom was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, and when the Colorado Rockies were founded no matter how good or bad they were doing. Tom and Katie were devoted Rockies fans. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, gardening, playing with his dogs Pearl and Lacy and so many other things. He just really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eric and Mary.
Tom is survived by his wife Katie; his sons Thomas “Tommy” Bartlett and Chris Bartlett; his stepson David (DJ) Jaynes; his granddaughter Hailey Schulze; his grandson Easton Bartlett; his sister Patti (Bartlett) Harris; brother-in-law Allan Harris; 3 nephews; 4 great nephews; 4 great nieces and 6 cousins.
Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. There will be a Celebration Of Life Gathering at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his oldest son Tommy’s house. The address is 10297 Celestine Pl., Parker CO 80134.
