Tom Crowley

Tom Crowley, 34, passed beyond this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at his home in Longmont, Colorado.Those who will forever cherish his memory include his mother, Kathryn Crystal and her friend, David Shepstone of Longmont; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends including the Crypt Crew, and friends from A Bit of Billiards.Tom was born July 29, 1974, in Westminster, Colorado to William J. Crowley and Kathryn Crystal. After graduating in 1992 from Fort Lupton High School, he went on to graduate in 1995 from Denver Institute of Technology College with an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology. He later became an information technology specialist and dispatcher with Northrop Grumman, earning MicroSoft's A+ certification.With a keen interest in games such as World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, and EverQuest, Tom was able to escape into elaborate worlds, filled with heroics and adventure. He was an avid reader, a comic book collector, and a student of Norse mythology and of Star Wars and Jedi knighthood.Tom was a generous and patient mentor to his special adopted nieces and nephews including Alex Weber, and Andrew, Nathan and Phoebe Gorham.
