

Tyler Alan Cline: A Life Well LivedTyler Alan ClineJanuary 6, 1992 “ June 27, 2019Tyler Alan Cline passed away on June 27, 2019 when he fell while hiking near Crestone, Colorado. He was 27 years old and died doing what he loved to do, enjoying hiking and photographing the beautiful Colorado Rockies.He was born to Rick and Debbie (Soltis) Cline in Denver, CO on January 6, 1992 “ and immediately took the world by storm with his energy and larger-than-life personality. As a toddler he moved with his family to Pennsylvania where he grew up with his brothers Matthew and Patrick and step-siblings Megan, Brian and Pat. Tyler graduated from Boyertown High School and went on to receive an Associate's degree from Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. He then returned to Colorado in 2012 for a culinary internship in Boulder. Tyler also studied biochemical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines.Tyler brought his culinary talents to both Salt Bistro and Oak at Fourteenth in Boulder. He had recently moved to Buena Vista, CO where he worked at Asian Palate Thai and Sushi.Tyler had a passion for the great outdoors and enjoyed hiking. His goal was to climb each of the 58 Fourteeners in Colorado, which he was doing at the time of his death. Tyler was also an avid and excellent photographer. Tyler combined both of these passions to produce truly stunning landscape and wildlife photography. Tyler is survived by his mother Debbie Eck, stepfather Kevin Eck, father Rick Cline and wife Liisa McConnell; two brothers Patrick and Matthew Cline; grandparents Don and Pansy Soltis, Ted and Lee Cline, and Yvonne Regan; step-siblings Meghan, Brian and Patrick Eck, and a dear and special friend Brittany Bock. Tyler is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole host of friends too numerous to mention.A Celebration of Tyler's life will be held on Friday July 5, 10:30am at First United Methodist Church of Boulder.
