

Tyler was born on Saturday July 11th, 1987. In Longmont CO. He was the first-born son of Marcy Christine Johnson and Kenneth Lee Johnson, his parents. A big brother to his younger sister, Stephanie Monique Lee Johnson. (Marcus Saul Nunez) and a big brother to his little brother Samuel Joseph Lee Johnson, even though Sammy J was taller than him. He was the grandson of Bobbie Jean Lewies, of Stillwater, OK.
He was the most loving, caring and worlds best dad to his 18th month old daughter, Aria Alice Johnson. His daughters Adrianna Nettie Baca and Alicia Destiny Baca, and the loving husband to Felicia Christine Colbruno. He was the most amazing uncle to, Nevaya Monique lee Nunez, Zavier Marcus lee Nunez, Sage Marcus Lee Nunez and Aubrey Sierra Colbruno. Son In law to Elena Maria Chavez and Brother-in-Law to Mario Frederick Colburno (Camille Lina Colbruno) and Angelo Ernest Colbruno who is street racing with Ty in heaven.
In Tyler’s early years he loved spending time with his grandparents. Loved fishing with his grandpa and baking and eating chocolate chip cookies with his grandma. Tyler was very close to his grandparents, Ernie and Alice Johnson. They had a special relationship, and he was so spoiled! He loved building legos; he had such a creative imagination. Tyler attended elementary school in Longmont, CO and played pee wee softball. Him and his family moved to Dacono, CO, where he attended middle school in Frederick, CO. During those years he had a small lawn mowing business, with the help of his grandpa. Tyler was a member of 4-H raising pigs and had a slight passion for horseback riding with his dad. He also participated in archery. He graduated in 2005 from Frederick High School. In high school he enjoyed dirt bikes (motocross) RC-Cars, and getting in trouble with his friends, and driving his parents crazy. During his teenage years, he worked at the Roll-Arena in Longmont, CO. Safeway in Frederick, CO. Tyler then went to work for American Engine in Denver, CO. He had a great love for cars! His Ford Focus, 2002 Subaru and especially his 2011 corvette. (That none of us were allowed to drive) and his Nissan Titan. Even though we are a family involved with horses, Tyler preferred 4 wheels instead of 4 legs (family joke). Tyler Loved spending time with his friends and working on and fixing cars.
In October of 2019 Tyler met Felicia at a car meet and started dating. They enjoyed their time together at car meets and racing. The spark on their fourth date was so hot, Tyler’s car caught fire! They both loved dining out at different places but, their favorite spot was Texas Roadhouse. They were the perfect match for each other and instantly, Felicia and her two teenage daughters were part of our crazy family. With the help of Adrianna and Alicia an engagement was planned, on September 13th, 2021. Tyler asked Felicia to be his wife, in a private setting in the backyard of the house they shared together. With the song “You make It Easy” By Jason Aldean playing in the background. The girls watching from the patio door, and girl dad life officially began. On September 16th, 2023, Tyler and Felicia blessed us, with our precious baby girl Aria Alice Johnson. And daddy life began! Tyler was a very devoted family man, father and hands on daddy. He did everything for his little girl. We used to tease him and call him, Aria’s bodyguard. Because wherever she was, HE was right there. He was always with his baby girl; from the day she was born. Family time was very important to him. Walks around the neighborhood with Aria in her remote corvette car and mommy. Wednesdays were always date night with Aria included. At their favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse. Nightly daddy daughter bedtime routine. Reading her favorite books and teaching her new things. Nightly facetime calls with grandpa and grandma. Tyler and his baby girl Aria were each other’s whole world. Everything Tyler did, he did for Felicia, Aria and the girls. They were his everything.
Tyler enjoyed spending time with his parents and hanging out with his brother and sister. The three of them were a tight bunch and always there for each other, supporting each other in everything they did. He was a fun and crazy uncle. Who loved to have his nieces and nephews over. They loved to have water balloon fights. Shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July. Tyler was known for making his one-of-a-kind turkey on thanksgiving, that will be missed. Tyler was a great friend, always doing what he could to help people out.
Tyler was a member of the car groups 5151 Performance and Mexico Lanes.
Tyler was employed at Nestle Purina in Denver. He was also an at home garage mechanic.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents Ernie and Alice Johnson. His grandfather Kenneth Johnson SR. His uncle Mark Johnson (Godfather), and his brother-in-law Angelo Colbruno.
Tyler is survived by his beautiful wife Felicia, his precious baby girl Aria, daughters Adrianna and Alicia. His parents Kenny J and Marcy. His brother Sammy J, his sister Stephanie (Marcus). His nephews Zavier and Sage. His nieces Nevaya and Aubrey. His Grandma Bobbie. His mother-in-law Elena and brother-in-law Mario (Camille) and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins, and all his many wonderful friends.
Tylers sense of humor and generous heart touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. Though he is gone, his spirit will remain ever present. As timeless as love itself.
A private (invite only) Celebration of Life to honor Tyler will be held.
Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
