Vicki D. Anderson

Vicki D. Anderson of Longmont, Colorado, died June 21, 2009 at the HospiceCare Center in Louisville, Colorado following a brief illness. She was 61 years old.She was born December 6, 1947 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of George P. and Loleta D. (Jasperson) Scott. She attended primary and junior high schools in Twin Falls, Idaho, but moved to Fallbrook, California during her high school years. After graduating from Fallbrook High School, Vicki attended Palomar Community College where she studied medical assisting and transcription.Vicki worked for much of her career in medical offices and hospitals in Escondido and San Diego, California. In 2006, she followed her daughter, Candace, and her family to Colorado where she fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and the changing of the seasons.Ms. Anderson enjoyed her quirky assortment of pig figurines and collectibles. Most important, however, was her family, especially her granddaughters, Cori and Kayla. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Survivors include her daughter, Candace McCarthy and her husband, Bob, and their two daughters, Cori and Kayla of Longmont; a brother, Kurt Scott of San Francisco, California; and a cousin, Debi Schumacher of Aurora, Colorado. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services of Longmont.
