Vincent Algot Nelson

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly and siblings Virgil Nelson, Myrtle Gustafson and Victor Nelson.

He is survived by Donna Nelson and their five children. Raeane Vogel, Dixie Nelson, Jay Nelson, Drew Nelson, Corey Nelson, his 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Vince worked on the Northwestern Railroad running a handcar while inspecting and maintaining the railway. Vince was an Aviation Electronic technician in the US Air Force and afterwards worked as an aircraft mechanic for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach California.

Vince moved back to Minnesota and was employed by Brunz construction. He then moved to Longmont with his family and was employed by IBM until retirement.

Vince loved his family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, shuffleboard, polka music and sharing time with family and friends. We will miss you daddy.

A memorial service will be held Friday July 30th at 10:30 am at Foothills Gardens of Memory
