Vonnie Jane Fetter

Vonnie Jane Fetter, 60, of Longmont, CO passed to a better place April 8, 2008. Services will be held at Howe Mortuary at 439 Coffman Street in Longmont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 12, 2008. A reception will be held at Camille and John Lewis' home at 2409 Gordon Court in Longmont following the services.Vonnie Jane was born June 7, 1947 and grew up on a farm near Kingsley, Iowa. She was the daughter of Donald A. and Vonnie (Dugan) Pratt. She graduated from Kingsley-Pierson High School in 1965 and the University of Northern Iowa in 1969.Vonnie Jane had a long and successful career in the computer industry. She was famous for her cooking amoung family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful flowers. Vonnie also enjoyed her unique collection of hummingbird objects and figurines. Vonnie Jane's accomplishments are too numerous to count and she lived a loving, caring, and generous life.Vonnie Jane's family was her greatest joy. Survivors include her husband, Larrie Fetter of Longmont, CO; daughter and husband, Camille and John Lewis of Longmont; son Jay Geiger of Longmont; sons Mark Fetter of Longmont and Chris Fetter of San Francisco, CA; three grandchildren, Smantha and Luke Lewis and Kamryn Fetter all of CO.Survivors also include her father Donald A. Pratt of Pierson, Iowa; sister and husband Katheryn and Lyle Spencer of Goldfield, Iowa; brother and wife Mike and Lana Pratt of Rolfe, Iowa; three nephews, wives, and families; and many aunts including a special aunt, Lucile Stewart of Julesburg, CO, other uncles, and cousins.Additional survivors include her numerous caring friends.She was preceded in death by her mother Vonnie Opal Pratt.Flowers are welcome or make contributions in her memory to: Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, c/o HCR Manor Care Foundation, 333 N.
