Zachariah Philip Chavez

In life Zach was a loving husband, father, grandfather and the friend you could always turn to for help. He was a man who could make anyone laugh, and had a natural talent for making special connections with people. Zach especially adored his family, and can be described as the “Heart of the Family”.

He worked as an over the road driver and mechanic. Earlier in life he had traveled to Dallas, Texas to train as a RV technician. He married Sonia Chavez on November 11th, 2011 after almost twenty years of being together. The two have three sons.

Zach is survived by his parents, his wife, his three sons, Jovan, Jesse and Michael, granddaughter Emunique, his brother James Cordova, his sister Lynnette Chavez, along with extended brothers and sisters Kimberly Chavez, Gabriel Chavez, Katrena Chavez, and Mareena Chavez, and additional family and friends.

Visitation willl be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 4-6pm at Howe Mortuary, with Rosary servie starting at 6:00pm.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00am at Howe Mortuary. Burial will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory, Longmont
