Angelina was known for her resilient spirit, having faced a tough life, yet always seeing the good in people. This outlook never diminished her love or generous spirit. She was deeply loved by her family, including her brother, Joshua Lees; grandmother, Angel Panter; daughter, Journee Oplinger, who means more to her than life itself, and husband Matthew Oplinger all who survive her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Brown, her mother, Carol-Marie Rogenski, and her grandfather, Tony Chambers.
Angelina had a profound love for the color purple, butterflies, and embraced the "Hippy" lifestyle. Her spirit was defined by peace, love, and tie-dye.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on January 31, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, located at 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40258-1482. This will be followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 pm at the same location.
Angelina's legacy of love, kindness and generosity will be cherished by all who knew her.
