Barbara was born August 1, 1945, to the late Ernest Blake and Anabelle Phillips (Blake), in Henderson, Ky.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband Jack. Barbara also loved spending time with her friends, family, and her fur babies, she also enjoyed the occasional casino trip.
In addition to her parents Barbara is proceeded in death by her husband Cyril “Jack” Johnson; her children Jeff Timms and Wendy Sartin; two brothers, Henry and Ronald Blake; five sisters, Shirley Pike, Joyce Gower, Martha Wise, Della Harris, and Goldie Jenkins.
She is survived by one grandson, Brandyn Sartin; brother, Lewis Blake of Louisville, Ky; sister, Anna Oliver of Henderson, Ky; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home-Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Her funeral service will occur on Friday August 29th in the funeral home chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
