Bruce was a patient of mine for several years, he was literally one of the nicest men i have ever met in my life! I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, he had an uplifting spirit and created lots of smiles and laughs when he was in the office for a visit.  I'll never forget how he just beamed when he had his granddaughter in tow. Please accept our condolences and he will be dearly missed around here.

Uncle Bruce,
My first memory of you was when I was really little and you put me on your lap so I could “drive” your truck. After that, I remember so many good times at your pool, at Christmas, and at the Helm Hurrah. None of us will ever forget when you took my boys fishing and Nate got the hook stuck in his ear. You thought it was so funny. You were the best and most patient uncle and great uncle. It is obvious how much you loved all kids and always took the time to talk to them and play with them. We will all miss you so much.

I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I met him at Fast Eddie's in Fairdealing KY.  We were both avid fisherman and became friends. He was a true McGiver: he could fix anything and would help anyone. He was an excellent craftsman and I never saw a frown on his face. He will be missed.

To my sweet, caring, gentle, & hardworking Uncle Bruce,
You were an uncle in a million.  The world’s greatest fisherman. 
Growing up, we spent a lot of time at your house on Weavers Run. You were 10 minutes away, so it was nothing to hop in the car with Mom, Daniel, and Brian and head over.
 At your house we were able to swim, relax, and have the opportunity to be kids. It was always a treat for us because we spent a lot of our days off from school and summer break working in the heat earning money for our family business.  Sometimes we would just drop in and sit around your table and talk after you got off from work. You always worked so hard and I admired that about you. You and Patti were always so happy to see us and so welcoming. So welcoming that we got to spend a couple of weeks with you at one point. I’ll never forget that.
During our family gatherings, you would hold me in your lap and “try” to teach me how to keep score for the card game you loved, euchre. To be completely honest, I never did understand how to keep the score right, but you were so patient with me and let me sit there anyways. I enjoyed spending the time watching & listening to you play. I’m not quite sure when I finally got too “old” to sit in your lap and keep score. 
When I was in high school, you moved to Murray, Ky. I remember my mom being so upset about this and it upset me too. I felt like part of my “comfort” was going away. I still drive by your house on Weavers Run and think about all the memories we made there. 
After I had my own kids, you loved on them just like you loved on me. Every chance you got, you would pick them up and hold them, feed them a bottle, or give them a piece of candy; smarties in particular. When Paislee was 4 years old I had asked her a question that I didn’t think she would know the answer to. I said “Paislee, why are you so smart?”..her response: “it’s probably all those smarties uncle Bruce gives me every time I see him.”
