Bruce Bertram Schulten

Bruce Bertram Schulten, 65, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. Bruce was born on October 8, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Doris Schulten. He was a free-spirit and lived his life against the grain. He was a loving father and loved his children and grandchildren above all. Bruce was hard headed but sympathetic - the type of person who did not care about anyone else’s opinions and stayed strong in his beliefs. He loved his cat as much as he loved his bike.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Steve Schulten.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Luke Schulton (Alicia), Nick Schulten (Crystal), Kaila Blaine Gillock; 9 grandchildren, Blake, Violet, Brooklynn, Bentley, Jasmine, Zackary, Olivia, Henry, Dominic; siblings, Stella Blackwell (Tom), Phyllis Schulten Johnson (Chris), Annette Schulten Baylon, Matthew Schulten; his godson, Simon Baylon; several extended family members and great friends; his Cat Lady; and 2 ex-wives, Sandra Jones and Debbie Kochert.

His Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, 40272, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

His Funeral Service will on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Burial will immediately follow at St Andrews Cemetery, 7500 St. Anthony Church Road, 40214.
