He was a retired delivery driver for Deans Milk, an Army veteran of WWII, and a former mason.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Schweiss Carr; two sons, Carl B. Carr, Jr. (Jane) and Jerry Carr (Regina); a brother, Bernie Carr; a sister, Lucille Craig; a grandson, Derek Carr; and great-grandchildren, Liz, Christopher, Emily, and Xavier.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at W.G. Funeral Home Valley Station, followed by burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Thursday.
