He was a retired switchman for L&N Railroad, a member of New Salem Baptist Church, former pastor of Holly Baptist Church in Leitchfield, KY, and a Navy veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby McNutt.
He is survived by a son, Ronald McNutt; grandson, Darron McNutt; sister, Billie Bales (Archie); and several loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church, 6408 Bethany Lane, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home.
