Eva Mae Miles

Eva Mae Miles, a beloved and devoted resident of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on November 9, 1927, Eva lived a long and faithful life, leaving behind a legacy of loyalty and love.

Eva was a beautiful soul who will be missed ever so dearly. She loved tending to her flowers in her yard, was a wonderful baker and cooked delicious food from scratch. She was an avid UK basketball fan, loved family reunions, and was a doting mother who always made sure her children, and her family were well taken care of. She was a member of the same church her whole life and participated in bible school, at South Jefferson Baptist Church. She took special care of her husband, always, and during his lengthy illness. They were known to hold each other's hand, on a regular basis.

She is preceded in death by her husband Owen, whom she was married to for 65 years, her parents Roy and Iva, and her two sisters Velma Reece, and Janice Scott.

She is survived by her children Linda Jesse, Brenda Long, and Jeff Miles (Wendy), her grandchildren Doug Adkisson (Beth), Vicki Adkisson, Todd Marr (Julie), Cheryl Jones (Greg), and Aaron Miles. Her great-grandchildren Donte, Dustin, and Mia Marr, Nick and Alex Adkisson, her siblings Roy Streble, Juanita Childress, John Streble, Leslie Streble, Margie Pace, Lois Sandefur, and the Mavens of Spring Haven.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home-Hardy Chapel, located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272, on January 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A visitation from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, followed by funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm, will take place at the same venue on January 23, 2026, followed by a committal service at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.

Eva Mae Miles will be remembered for her unwavering dedication and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
