He was a retired truck driver with Teamsters Local 89 and a member of the Rockford Lane Baptist Church.
Bud was preceded in rest by his wife, Nancy; and his son, Steve Quire.
He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Summers (Bill), Lisa Jackson (John Fleming), Jane Meredith and Jennifer Beal (Steve); nine grandchildren, Ian Quire, Nathaniel Quire, Allison Allen, Joey Summers, Sarah Bormann, Stephen Jackson, Suzanne Anderson, Rachel Meredith, and Rebekah Robinson; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marty Quire (Kay).
His funeral will be Wednesday, August 7th, at 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to his church, Rockford Lane Baptist.
