

She loved being with her family and friends, adored her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and had an entire host of "extra" children, as she was everyone's "mom". Retired from Jessies, she loved to work and simply loved being around people. Loved her pets Blue and Squeaky. She was an avid UK Wildcats fan. Enjoyed playing bingo and horseshoe, and enjoyed sewing, as well as cleaning and making her house look beautiful. Jeanine was loved by everyone.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lois Irene Atcher, father Jack Hartman, sisters Kathryn (Kathy) Nash, Denise (Deanie) Elzey, Theresa Reid. Brothers, Allen Wayne Nash, William Dennis Nash, Mark Hartman, and Michael Duart Nash. Nephews Danny Scott Atwell, Sage Hartman, and Boo Skaggs.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years Michael Cheatham, daughter Ashley Lynn Johnson, four stepsons Mike, Chris, Brian and James. Granddaughter Bella Marie Johnson, plus a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister Jackie Foster, brothers David, Johnny, and Jimmy Nash, Kevin Hartman, and sister in law Brenda Nash. Best Friends Vicky Anderson, Lana Albin, Candice Faith and Natasha Cloud.
Jeanine was a beautiful and wonderful person. A life lived well, who will be missed very much.
A memorial service for Jeanine will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home Funeral Home-Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
