He was a retired accountant for the old Dahlem Company for more than 20 years.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Flora Baker.
He is survived by his son, Scott Baker (Ali); his daughter, Tracy Baker; their mother, Dawn Baker; was Papa to Noah Baker; also survived by three sisters, Susie Tackett (Steve), Martha Wilson and Barbara Kramer (Frank); a brother, Joe Baker (Diane), friend B.J. Hewitt and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 12pm noon until 4pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway.
