John retired from the East Noble School Corporation after 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Victor Stevens; and nephew, David Stevens.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 66 years, Judith M. Stevens; children, Janet Mason (Russell), Jane Armes, John M. Stevens Jr. (Tamara), Jennifer Moreau (Pat); 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10am – 2pm at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY 40216. Service will be held at 2pm. Cremation is to follow. The family asks any floral arrangements be sent to Incarceration Catholic Church on Tuesday.
