Joseph enjoyed spending time with his friends, cooking, painting, and drawing. He especially loved being with his dog, Roxzanne, and his kitty, Maxwell, they meant the world to him.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Andrew Mills and Gilbert Edwin Schildknecht. He is survived by his brothers, Steven Wade Bowlin and Richard Edward Mills; his sisters, Tina Wade Marshall and Louann Schildknecht; and his close friends, Joseph Clinkenbeard, Rebecca Von Baby, Stephen Ball, Danny Morris, and Diane Secor.
Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
