Julia Marrietta Powers, 74, entered into rest on Monday, December 11, 2017. She was a medical assistant with U of L Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Clemens (B.J); son, Rob Powers, II (Duana); sisters, Martha Ann Anglin, Nancy Gregson; brothers, Jerry and Tom Weatherly; Seven grandchildren and Four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12noon at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
