He was a mechanic for Brown and Williamson and a member of Lyon Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Milby was preceded in rest by his wife, Margie; a great-grandchild, Jewel; and his sister, Mary Edith.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Ruscillo (Guy), William H. Milby (Debbie), Robin Hinson (Steven), Stephen Defler (Connie), Dan Defler (Melinda), Darrell Defler; 15 grandchildren, Todd, Kevin, Amanda, Brian, Tyler, Daniel, Kerry, Kelly, Danielle, Dara, Casey, Trenton, Kensley, Marcalley and Jessena; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, Adrian Milby (Elsie); and a sister, Faye Milby.
His funeral will be on Monday, September 11, at 11am. Entombment will follow later in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm until 8pm.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lyons Missionary Baptist Church.
