Kenneth Ray Qualls, 64, passed away on April 12, 2026. Born on April 18, 1961, Kenny will be remembered for the quiet strength he carried into everyday life and the care he showed to family and friends.
Kenny retired from UPS, where he worked as a package handler. He was also a member of Dixie Valley Church of God.
Kenny was married 43 years to Donna Qualls, and he held his family close with a deep, enduring devotion. He also enjoyed cooking, University of Louisville Basketball, and his Fantasy Football league—interests that brought him joy and kept him connected to the people and traditions he loved.
Ken is survived by his wife, Donna Qualls; his son, Charlie Smith (Heather); his granddaughters, Taylor Smith (Allistair), Katelyn Smith, and Cristin Smith (Connor); his great grandson, Westyn; his sister, Brenda Goodman; and his nephews, Brian Goodman and Sean Goodman. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Qualls; his mother, Claudine Qualls; and his nephew, Jason Goodman.
Visitation will be held at Dixie Valley Church of God, 4703 Quinn Dr, Louisville, on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at the church beginning at 5:00 pm.
