He was the retired owner/operator of Taylor’s Transmission, had a passion for music, hunting, and fishing, and was a veteran of the Army reserves.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Anna (Ladd) Taylor; his parents Paul and Clara Taylor; sister, Joyce Carden; and brothers Rick Taylor and Ron Taylor (Sherry). He is survived by his sons Larry Wayne Taylor, Jr. (Megan) and Pete Gray (Tammy): a sister, Mary “Pete” Young (Dallas); and grandchildren Reid, Austin, Cayden, and Colton.
A funeral service for Larry will be held at 12:00 Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday.
