Leonard L. Montgomery

Leonard L Montgomery was born to William Henry Montgomery and Viola Lewis Bell on December 4,1936. Departing this life at home on December 15,2014. Making his stay on earth 78 years and 11 days. He was praying hard and said he wanted to go home and he believed in God. He met this beautiful Everage girl in 1973 and they were married in November 1973. To this union was born one son Roland Leonard who married Angie Taylor and had a daughter and son. Autum Marie and Justus Tyler. His Dad Leonard or Henry as we called him and his Mom was always so proud of their son and his family. Roland passed away on December 20,2008 leaving a great void in their life. Leonard (Henry) retired from M.S.D. where he worked for 28 years. Leaving to mourn his passing is his loving companion Linda, Grandkids Autum and Justus and daughter-in-law Angie, two sisters Loretta Barnhart and Janie Rosengard, one brother Jerry Montgomery and so many in-laws, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends too many to count. Proceeding him in death was his son Roland whom he loved so much his dad William and his mom Viola, three sisters Vivian, Anglia, and Phyllis. four brothers Ray, Little Henry, Charles, Gene and two small babies. Visitation will be at the W.G.Hardy Funeral Home at 10907 Dixie highway in Lousiville from 1pm to 8 pm on Wednesday the 17 and the funeral will be Thursday at 1 pm with old regular Baptist Elder Aaron Whitaker Jr. and Elder Bobby Baker officiating.
