Mattie Jane Beatty, 73, of Louisville passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Christian Health Care Center, with her loving family by her side. Mattie spent many years as a caretaker for her children. Mattie was met at the gates of heaven by her husband Don and her brother Donald Payton. Mattie has left to cherish her memories; her son Clifford Briner (Peggy); two daughters Teresa Newlin (Michael) and Jessie Conn (Fred); seven grandchildren; one sister, Mary Hoskins; three brothers, Hubby "Herb" Heath, Roscoe Payton and David Heath.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 12:00 PM at advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY 40272; burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
