Missi was truly one of a kind. Her vibrant and colorful spirit brought joy to everyone she encountered. Known for her playful sense of humor, she was the ultimate prankster, always finding ways to make others smile, even on her toughest days. Missi's generosity knew no bounds- she was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was offering a few dollars for gas or providing a safe place for the ones she loved.

Her life was a testament to resilience and love. Missi never gave up on her dream of finding her soulmate and was blessed to share her life with her loving husband, Cory J. Berger. She faced her illnesses with courage and determination but ultimately gained her angel wings and was reunited with her beloved son, Martin Aaron "Bubba" Heinly.

Missi is survived by her devoted husband, Cory; her children: Corey Heinly (Brandy), Hailey McFadden, and Moriah Smith; and her cherished grandchildren: Jayce, Canon, Mason, Amari, Thaddeus, Bea, Braxton, and Elijah. She also leaves behind her parents, Cathy and Merle Gosser; her siblings, Casey Hagedorn (Jay) and Mike Gosser; as well as her niece and nephews: Dakota, Dylan, Brandon, and Ethan.

Missi's legacy of love and kindness will live on through the lives she touched. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Melissa will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations towards the services.
