Phillip Wayne Rhodes, Sr., 82 departed this life Saturday, June 8, 2024 after a long illness. A native of Louisville, KY and a Veteran of the US Navy. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E Rhodes and Marjorie Irene Cole, brother Charles E. Rhodes, sister Patricia Chappell, and son Phillip W Rhodes, Jr. Mr Rhodes is survived by his son, Robert R Rhodes (Kelly), guardian of Scott Meeluksana (Laura), grandchildren Brandey Grasso, Joe Rhodes, Zackary and Zoey Rhodes, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held at the Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel 10907 Dixie Hwy on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM to his service time starting at 2:00 PM. Phillip chose cremation his inurnment will take place at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery at a later date. "Honorary pallbearers"; fellow employees of Louisville Gas and Electric.
