Richard Lee Peak

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jane Peak; son, Toby Peak; stepson, Brian Pratt; step daughter-in-law, Jennifer Pratt; and great-granddaughter, Charley Rose Quarles.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rita Peak; his siblings, Connie Ewen, Brenda Ogle, and Mike Peak; his daughter, Misty Hooper (Brian); stepsons, Denny Pratt (Leah Ann), and Rusty Pratt; his loving grandchildren, Anna Huddleston, Austin Hooper, Skilar Everage (Andrew), Macy Quarles (Cambron), Chris Hicks, Marley Pratt, Clara Hooper, Tanner Senn, Della Hooper, and Evan Pratt; and his great-grandchildren, Maddie Long, Logan Campbell, Oliver Quarles and Baby Boy Everage, due this year.

Ricky was a devoted husband, loving father and brother, and the proudest Poppy that ever graced the earth. He loved life like no other- always selfless, helping anyone he could. He cherished every moment he had with his family, especially getting to be “Poppy” to his beloved grandchildren; and was sincerely grateful for any time he could spend outside running his beagles! This world will never be the same without his joy and light and we all look forward to being reunited with him in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 3pm – 8pm at Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11am with an entombment at Bethany Memorial Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made out to Charley’s Rainbow.
