He was a native of New Albany, IN and retired from General Electric as a forklift operator.
His survivors include his wife, Sharon; three daughters, Tina Marie Whittaker (Andy), Alice Lee Miller (Greg) and Jessica Jo Hampton (Don); one son, Ronald G. Hampton Jr. (Mary); one sister, Irene Eddington (Millard); one brother, Darrell Hampton (Sandy); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service: noon Friday at W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: Thursday, 2-8 p.m.
