Born in Louisville to the late Charles and Dell Thomas, Ronald was the retired owner/operator of Southside Automotive and Ridge Park Softball Field. He served for many years as President of South Park Country Club. In his younger years, he had a passion for racing his dragster.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy Throneberry Thomas; a son, Michael Thomas; daughter, Michelle Sullivan; step-children, David Henry (Lisa), Jason Henry, and Melinda Miller (Paul); ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his three brothers.
Cremation was chosen. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Sunday, January 26 from 3-7pm at South Park Country Club.
