Ronnie Doyle Mercer, 77, passed away January 21, 2018, at home with his loving family at his side. Ronnie was met at the gates of heaven by his wife Carol and son Charles Mercer, Sr. Ronnie was a retired mechanic for Kone Elevator, an Army veteran, and a mason with Breckinridge County Lodge #67.
Left to cherish his memories are a daughter, Christina Mercer-Roby (Sherry), three sisters, Donna McWilliams, Barbara Vincent, Debbie Ernst; two grandchildren, Erica Mercer and Charles Mercer, Jr. and three great-grandchildren, Hayley, Rylee and Jaelynn.
Celebration of life service for Ronnie will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at Kingswood Cemetery in Harned Kentucky. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, 10907 Dixie Highway.
