Timothy Wesley Gillock

Timothy Gillock, 40, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most. Tim was at his happiest with his family whether he was spending time with his kids, playing with his dog Akela (KeeKee), cheering on the U of L Cardinals or the San Francisco 49ers, or enjoying a ride on his motorcycle.

Tim is survived by his mother, Pam Gillock; his father and stepmother, Randy and Sherri Gillock; and his children, Shawn, Alyah, and Aubree Gillock. He is also survived by his grandmother, Ann Gillock; his sisters, Candice Gillock and Kaila Gillock; and his stepbrother, Andy Turner.

He leaves behind his uncle and aunt, Steve and Kerry Deckard; uncle and aunt, Tim Deckard and Jennifer Strickland and uncle and aunt, Kendall and Debbie Gillock; cousins Dylan Deckard, Kadi Carrico, Heather Burns, and Taylor Gillock; Tim will also be missed by his nieces Elina Thompson, Violet Mayo, and Jasmine Grider; nephews Ash Jay, and Dominic Padilla; and his best friend and brother, Joe Wells.

Tim will be remembered for his easy going spirit, his humor and his love for his family, and the way he made everyone around him feel at home.

A visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky, 40272. The visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY, 40272, US, on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 10:00 am.
