A native of Louisville, William was a retired mechanic and auto body repairman for Hall’s Collision.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary Weatherholt McFarlan; a step-daughter, Emily Harris (Craig); granddaughter Kayley Harris; siblings Boots McFarlan (Sookie), Gayle Penrod, and Donna Limer; and niece and nephews Kristeen Penrod, Johnny Crosser, and Claude McFarlan. He was preceded in death by niece Molly and nephew Mac.
His funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday.
