Ann Dickerson Mott

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She dearly loved her church, family and friends. She loved living in Inverness and made so many dear friends there. She worked several years at Texas State Optical as a doctor's assistant. She worked over 20 years at Perco Distribution. She married her soul-mate, Hollis, and they have had a wonderful marriage of 52+ years. She felt so lucky that he took care of her during her many illnesses.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Mott of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Mott Ramsey and Ken of Round Rock, TX; daughter-in-law and husband, Edna and Dale Murphy of Lufkin; granddaughter, Melody Sepulva Simms of Round Rock; grandson and wife, Jeremy and Katie Mott of Kilgore; grandson, Josh Mott of Kilgore; great-grandsons, Jordan and Landon Simms of Round Rock and Lane Mott of Kilgore; sister and brother-in-law, Beulah and David Robinson; brother, Martin Dickerson of San Augustine; sisters-in-law, Joyce Mott of San Augustine and Joyce Dickerson of San Augustine and Opal Mott Carter of Houston; sister-in-law and husband, Louise and Jim Beard of Jasper; and many precious nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; son, Hollis Mott, Jr. in 1987 and brother, Lee Allen Dickerson.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2010 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Walter Futch and Bro. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
