Beatrice Williamson Wisener, 91, left her adoring family and friends on August 23, 2012 to be with her Lord and Savior. Bea was born North of Wells, Texas near Forest, Texas, living her childhood years there. During her adult life, she lived in Austin, Garland and Irving, Texas, returning to the home she was born in after the passing of her husband in 1980.
Bea is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Jack King Wisener; mother and father, Lila Dormany Williamson and Henry Ernest Williamson; and grandson, Tracy Wayne Rogers.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Wisener Rogers and Jerry Wayne Rogers of Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Russ Wisener and Joy Wisener of Irving; son, Donald Michael Wisener of Houston; grandson, Stacy Scott Rogers and his wife Cindy Mullino Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Traci and Keri of Winnsboro.
Bea was a wonderful mother, friend and mentor. Her first priority was God and her family, loving to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Be was always available to help her friends and family.
Bea's positive attitude, kindness, and charitable nature benefitted all who knew her. Bea loved to cook, had an extraordinary green thumb, and an undying love for her Lord Jesus. She was always the first person to do the work and the last person to take any credit. Bea was the matriarch of her family, and her family's welfare was the focus of her untiring efforts. Bea's three children have grown into accomplished, responsible, caring individuals as the result of the values they learned from their mother. Bea taught by the example she set.
Everyone who was fortunate enough to know Bea was blessed by her presence, friendship, and zest for life. She will be sorely missed by her family and her friends. But we are assured that she is singing with the saints in Heaven.
Pallbearers will be James Gulledge, Joel Wood, Ross Hicks, Robert Spainhour, Philip Dew and Bill Fielder.
Services for Bea were held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jimmy Hedges officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.
