

Marie went to be with our Lord on October 9, 2014. She was born September 29, 1922 in the Huxley Community of Shelby County, Texas, to the late Asa Permenter and Jewel Parker Permenter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James Howard Hutto; and her brother, James Harold Permenter.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Rita Kay Howard of Dallas; grandson, Brian Stephen Howard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and niece, Amanda Permenter Vasquez of Crowley.
Marie’s life was exemplified by generosity, loyalty and unselfish giving to all those whose lives she touched. Above all, Marie was a beautiful wife, grandmother, sister, friend, and a loving, caring, and sharing Mother! She will be remembered most affectionately for her dedication to her family, her church, and her many friends at Highland Springs Retirement Community. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. In all the hearts she touched, her memory will live forever!.
Inspiration to all who knew Marie ~ her words were wise, her perseverance amazing, her faith unwavering ~ Marie was truly a blessing and a special treasure to this world!
As her family mourns her loss and celebrates her arrival in Heaven ~ the Hutto family would like to extend a warm and special thanks to Dr. Mary Norman and all the caring, kind, and competent staff at Highland Springs. And we wish to thank the staff, nurses, and doctors at Faith Presbyterian Hospice. They have truly been a Blessing to our family!!!!
