Funeral service for Charles Sidney Freeman (Charlie), 82, of Lufkin, TX, will be held 11AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Bald Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Fancher officiating. Interment will follow at Fielder Cemetery.
Charles Sidney Freeman (Charlie) of Lufkin, Texas, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was born to the late Charles Wilton Freeman and Bessie Margaret (Smith) Freeman on August 4, 1942.
Charlie grew up in Channelview and Pasadena, Texas. He retired from Pipe Distributors Inc. after serving as Vice President of Operations for 28 years. He loved God, his family, and his dog, and enjoyed his time outside.
Survivors include children, (Dorinda) Kay Watson, Debbie McAnally and Dick, David Freeman, Tonya Freeman and Kimberly Wilding and Brian; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Bessie
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bald Hill Baptist Church 128 Leon Tillman Rd, Lufkin Tx.
