Crystal was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose life reflected quiet faith, kindness, and service to others. She worked faithfully as a pharmacy technician at Brookshire Brothers for over 25 years, where she was known for her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and compassionate care for every person she served. Her husband, Ben, often said she was the sweetest and kindest person he ever knew—a description that perfectly captured her heart.
Her greatest joy was found in her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Crystal treasured every moment spent with them and poured her love into nurturing and supporting those she held dear. She lived her life with humility and grace, touching many through simple acts of love and encouragement.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Ben Cobb; her children, Morgan Nickle and husband Dyson of Wells, Texas, Madison Beamer and husband Garrett of Forest, Texas, and Hunter Cobb of Hewitt, Texas; her grandchildren, Brantley Beamer, Venn Nickle, Bridger Beamer, Declan Nickle, and Bodie Beamer; her mother, Lydia McCarty; her brother, Heath McCarty and wife Samantha; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McCarty, and her grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Gipson Funeral Home. Crystal will be laid to rest at Hester Cemetery in Alto, Texas.
Though our hearts grieve, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and the comfort found in God’s Word:
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
Crystal’s life was a beautiful reflection of love and faith, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
