Curtis Wayne Yarbrough Jr.

Mr. Yarbrough was a carpenter and superintendent in the construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, and NASCAR. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an ordained evangelical minister and a member of the Assembly of God church.

Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his father, Curtis Wayne Yarbrough, Sr. Son, Trey Yarbrough; grandchildren, Caiden and Caryle Yarbrough; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Russell McDonald, Cheryl and William Wilson, Janice and Vernon Chamblee, Brenda and Wayne Terrell, Darla and James Wilson, Kim and Scotty Kennedy, Pam and Terry Lowe; brother and sister-in-law Allen and Marie Yarbrough; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Margie (Owens) Yarbrough.

Services for Mr. Yarbrough will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Burton, Robert Durham and Tommy Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Newman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
