Deloyce Braden

Services for Deloyce "Dee" (Berry) Braden, 86, of Lufkin will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Stephen Lantis officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Braden, the daughter of the late Ollie (King) and Dozier Berry, was born June 26, 1926 in Homer Community, Lufkin, Texas, and passed away at her home in Lufkin, Texas.

Mrs. Braden was a good cook and baker. She was a good person. She was baptized into the Baptist faith at 12 years of age.

Survivors include her nephew, Doug Powell of Longview; great-nieces, Marcie and Marcelo Voglino of Houston; Angie and Jose Almanza of Longview; niece-in-law, Jennifer Powell of Longview; great-great-niece and nephews, Jacob, Jason, Matthew John and Cristine; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edwin Tenney and Cecile Braden; sister-in-law, JoAnn Hobbs;.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Braden in 1998; infant son on February 10, 1946; sister, Joyce Berry Powell in 2005 and nephew, Marvin Gordon Powell, Jr.
