Services for Emma Pearl Spivey, 94, of Huntington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll.

Mrs. Spivey was born November 15, 1927 in Burke, Texas, the daughter of the late Vera (Langston) and Leal Ryan. She passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 in a Huntington nursing facility.

Mrs. Spivey was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She loved flowers, birds and butterflies and traveled all over the country.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Brown and husband Benny of Houston, Carolyn Spivey of Huntington, and Terry Campbell and husband Monty of Houston; grandchildren, Scott Fenley, Emily Davis, Laura Bridges, Amy Havard, Deborah Evett and Derrin Graham; 18 great-grandchildren; a number of great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Alsine Ryan of Houston.

Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Joe Ryan.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time on Monday at the funeral home.
