Frankie E. Leftwich

Mrs. Leftwich attended school in Hudson. She was a good Christian woman and was willing to help anyone. She taught Sunday School until her health would not let her continue. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Leftwich was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Irene Ellison of Oak Grove, LA and Delbert and Carolyn Ellison of Diboll, TX; daughters and son-in-law, Sue and the late James Crain of Lufkin, TX and Lola and Michael Stringer of Diboll, TX; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Frankie Jo Hugg; and sister, Estelle Bailey.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Services for Mrs. Leftwich will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. R. G. "Bud" Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, TX.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
