A graveside service will be held at Berry Cemetery on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Larry Staggs of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Clarence Matchett and Leo Bradberry, her sister Martha Alexander, and her son Lowell "Buster" Matchett.
Georgia had a passion for genealogy and family history and worked as a corrections officer throughout her career.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Carter, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brandi Hale of Hospice in the Pines for her exceptional care of Georgia over the last several years.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
