Joseph H Cochran

Joseph Herman Cochran was born December 25, 1935, and our Saviour took him home Friday, January 25, 2013.

Joe was an avid country musician, having played with fellow musicians too numerous to mention.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel and her sons, Grady and Marvin Courtney of Lufkin; his sons, Monte and Michael of Lufkin; daughters, JoAnn Moncrief of White Salmon, WA, Judy Cochran, Lisa Fowler and Sheri Oliver, all of Lufkin. Joe has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and is also survived by sisters, Mildred Mitchell of Diboll, Frances Crane and Maggie Lazenby of Kirbyville.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother and father, Herman and Beulah Cochran; brother, Tommy Cochran; and two sons, Mark Anthony and Melvin Douglas Cochran.

Pallbearers are Les Mitchell, Leroy Mitchell, Kenny Tucker, Mike Helm, John Ray Baxter and Ron Koska.

Honorary pallbearers are Corey Norton, Tyler Norton and Pat Montes.
